WHEALTH AND INNOVATION WELCOMES MAYOR DANIELLA LEVINE CAVA, SIEDAH GARRETT, JENNIFER VALOPPI AND ROBERTA BASKIN
MIAMI , FLORIDA, November 16th, 2022- The 6th Annual WHEALTH (Health, Women, Wealth) & INNOVATION Awards hosted by Nicole Shelley Inc, was held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Surfside, Florida on November 16, 2022. The evening honored Miami’s most prominent female moguls and change makers in industries such as Law, Aviation, Finance, Real Estate, Government Affairs, International Business, Philanthropy, Media, Healthcare, Fashion and more.
“With this year’s focus being LEGACY, there was no other recipient that we couLd think of, more befitting of the honor to receive the Lifetime Achievement & Legacy Award than Miami Dade’s Esteemed Mayor, Danielle Levine Cava. She fervently engaged the audience in a speech about her role as a legacy leader as the founder of CATALYST MIAMI along with other initiatives to aid business owners with easier access to county services. WHI from its inception in 2017 has always been rooted in recognizing not only female moguls but women who have a consistent proven and unwavering track record of integrity and commitment to their respective industries. These women represent millions of consumers, insurmountable innovation, equality, diversity and inclusion in their respective industries,” cited Nicole Shelley Greenidge Prattico, Founder of WHEALTH & INNOVATION.
The evening highlighted thepeacestudio.org founded by Maya Soetoro-Ng along with WHI’s partnership with Saks Fifth Avenue, Brickell and the coveted fragrance house, Parfums de Marly.
Guests were treated to a fine dinning experience at Michelin Star restaurant, Thomas Keller.
Among the special guests were Roberta Baskin, highly acclaimed journalist, having won more than 75 journalism awards, including the DuPont Columbia Award, and multiple Emmys and Peabodys.
The Master of Ceremony, Jennifer Valoppi, former lead anchor at NBC6 Miami, a multi-Emmy Award winning TV journalist, award winning author and social entrepreneur, delivered a stellar program.
Among the WHI 2022 honorees were Ramona Messore, Virginia Sanchez, Mayi De la Vega, Shirlyon McWhorter, Dr. Vilma Biaggi, Michelle Rudnick, Gladys Mezrahi, Carmen Betancourt-Louis and Teresa Foxx.
To Toast the evening was Grammy and Emmy Award winning artist Siedah Garrett who received an award for her Outstanding Service in Music & Legacy. She adeptly delivered an exclusive and private performance of “Man in the Mirror” the song which she cowrote for Michael Jakson along with an upcoming hit on Diana Ross’s new album. Siedah is an American singer and songwriter who has written songs and performed vocals for many recording artists in the music industry, such as Michael Jackson, the Pointer Sisters, Brand New Heavies, Quincy Jones, Tevin Campbell, Donna Summer, Madonna, Jennifer Hudson among others. Garrett has been nominated for two Academy Awards for Best Original Song, and won the Grammy Award for Best Song Written for Visual Media at the 50th Annual Grammy Awards for co-writing “Love You I Do” (performed by Jennifer Hudson) for the 2006 musical film, Dreamgirls. Ms. Garrett’s endless and triumphantly illustrious biography also inlcude her writing of the themesong for the 2015 Special Olympics held in Los Angeles.
A Special appearance was also made by Kobi Halperin subsequent to an intimate fashion show featuring designs from his luxury brand namesake, Kobi Halperin, sold at Saks Fifth Avenue. Kobi is known for his hugely celebrated career as the designer for Elie Tahari, Kenneth Cole and Ungaro.

MIAMI, FLORIDA, MARCH 18, 2024 – The 8th Annual INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY INNOVATION Awards made its first ever stop in the Miami Design District honoring notables, the likes of Adriana de Moura and more.
The very esteemed VIP guests experienced a one of a kind luxury suite of highly coveted auction items and an inside view of Miami’s Growth in the next ten years from female leaders in its most catalyzing industries such as real estate, finance, construction, retail, philanthropy and more. The awards luncheon itself held on March 15, 2024 was prized with gathering to honor the chief female engineers, change and taste makers in a cross section of industries such as Healthcare, Law, Banking, Technology, Art, Entertainment, Philanthropy, Wealth Management, Tourism/Hospitality and more.
